Center for Development of Interest in Learning (CDOIL) is a nonprofit research and development organization focused to research, develop and disseminate Content and strategy Centered Teaching and Learning (CSCTL) and materials. We define content Teaching as a process focused on explanation of concepts; and strategy teaching as focused on ensuring that the students are prepared and ready to engage in learning. When properly combined, Content and strategy Teaching reinforce each other.
We produce and provide Content and strategy Centered Teaching and Learning methods in the form of developed instructional materials and technologies. We also produce resource journals/articles and books related to the topic of student interest to writers, researchers and educators.
Researchers and staff developers at the CDOIL include academic philosophers, cognitive Scientists, clinical/school psychologists, technologists, curriculum developers, K-12 professional developers, and more.
