Center for Development of Interest in Learning (CDOIL) is a nonprofit research and development organization focused to research, develop and disseminate Goal and Task Teaching and Learning methods (GTTL) and materials. We define Goal Thinkng as a process through which one determines an advantage regarding a given task situation; and Task Thinking as thinking through which one responds to demands of objects in a task situation in order to secure a determined advantage. When properly combined, Goal and Task Thinking reinforce each other.
We produce and provide Goal and Task Teaching and Learning methods in the form of developed instructional materials and technologies. We also produce resource journals/articles and books related to the topic of student interest to writers, researchers and educators.
Researchers and staff developers at the CDOIL include academic philosophers, cognitive Scientists, clinical/school psychologists, technologists, curriculum developers, K-12 professional developers, and more.
